ABSTRAK
Tungau karat jeruk Phyllocoptruta oleivora Ashmead (Acari: Eriophyidae) adalah salah satu hama utama pada tanaman jeruk. Tungau ini menyerang jeruk di wilayah sentra produksi di Indonesia. Tungau menyerang daun dan buah. Serangan parah mengakibatkan daun, berwarna coklat dan menebal. Serangan pada buah menjadikan penampilan yang kusam. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui potensi agens pengendali hayati yang berpotensi mengendalikan Tungau Karat Jeruk. Pengujian dilaksanakan di rumah kasa Balai Penelitian Tanaman Jeruk dan Buah Subtropika Tlekung, Batu. Agens pengendali alami yaitu predator Amblyseius sp., entomopatogen Hirsutella sp., dan agens nabati serbuk biji mimba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua agens pengendali alami dan hayati mampu menekanpopulasi tungau karat jeruk. predator mampu memangsa telur dan nimfa tungau karat sebanyak 64 ekor pada dari pertama, entomopatogen mampu mematikan 50% dari jumlah tungau uji dalam waktu 5-6 hari setelah aplikasi dan serbuk biji mimba 15 dan 20g/l mampu menekan populasi tungau 20 ekor pada hari ke lima.

ABSTRACT
Citrus rust mite Phyllocoptruta oleivora Ashmead (Acari: Eriophyidae) is a major pest on citrus plants. The mite attacks citrus crops in several production centers in Indonesia. The mites attack the leaves and fruits. Severe attacks on leaves result in brown and thick leaves, and attack on fruits result in dull appearance. The purpose of research is to determine the potential biological control that could control Citrus Rust Mite. Testing was conducted in the screen house of Indonesian Citrus and Subtropical Fruits Research Institute, Batu. Natural control agents used were predators Amblyseius sp., Entomopathogen Hirsutella sp., and agents controlling plant used was neem seed powder. The results showed that all natural and biological control agents were capable of suppressing citrus rust mite populations. Predators were able to prey on the eggs and nymphs about 64 rust mites on the first day, entomopathogen was able to kill 50% of the tested mites within 5-6 days after application and neem seed powder 15 and 20g / l could suppressed the population, i.e. about 20 mites on the fifth day.
