Pengaruh Saat Transplanting Dan Jarak Tempuh Terhadap Keberhasilan Pengiriman Bibit Jeruk

ABSTRAK
Meningkatnya minat penangkar jeruk untuk memproduksi bibit dalam jumlah yang besar harus diimbangi dengan peningkatan kualitas bibit yang dihasilkan Dalam proses pendistribusian bibit sampai ke konsumen, sering menimbulkan kekecewaan setelah bibit ditanam di lapang. Faktor-faktor fisik tanaman baik di lapang maupun dalam pengangkutan sering diabaikan dalam pengiriman bibit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh saat transplanting dari lapang dan jarak tempuh terhadap keberhasilan pengiriman bibit jeruk. Penelitian dilaksanakan di IPPTP Tlekung (sekarang Lolitjeruk) dengan tinggi tempat ± 950 m di atas permukaan laut. Metode penelitian berdasarkan Rancangan Percobaan Petak Terbagi dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), diulang 3 kali dengan unit percobaan 30 tanaman. Sebagai petak utamanya adalah Jarak Tempuh yaitu Jarak 1500 km dan Jarak 3000 km, anak petaknya adalah Saat Transplanting yang terdiri dari saat transplanting 0 bin, 3 bin, 4 bin, 5 bin dan 6 bin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat transplanting yang berbeda akan menghasilkan komponen pertumbuhan yang berbeda pula. Faktor pengiriman hanya mempengaruhi tinggi tunas. Sedangkan interaksi antara saat transplanting dan jarak tempuh menyebabkan perbedaaan pertumbuhan pada tinggi tunas, diameter batang-bawah dan jumlah daun. Saat transplanting bibit umur 3 bulan akan menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman yang paling baik dibandingkan perlakuan lain.

ABSTRACT
Increasing of farmer interest to produce citrus stock abounding must be balanced with the improvement of quality yielded. In the distribution process of citrus stock to consumer, it often experience the failure after stock planted in spacious. Factors of physical plant either in spacious and also in transportation are often disregarded in stock delivery. The aim of this research was to evaluate the effect of transplanting time and traveled distance to citrus stocks distribution successfully. This research was conducted in Tiekung, Batu, East of Java. Split Plot Design on Randomized Block Design was used in this experiment with 3 replication and 30 plants as unit experiment. The main plot was Traveled Distance those are 1500 km and 3000 km. While the sub plot consist of Transplanting Time those are 0 month, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months and 6 months. Result of research indicated that the time of different transplanting will also yield the component of different growth. Factor of delivery only influenced high of shoot. While interaction of between time of transplanting and traveled distance differently resulted in growth, diameter of rootstock and number of leaves. Time of transplanting of stock at 3 months of age will yield growth of best plant compared with other treatment.
