ABSTRAK
Tanaman jeruk Siam Banjar (Citrus suhuiensis) tumbuh dengan baik di lahan rawa lebak.Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kualitas buah jeruk Siam Banjar dari pertanamanlahan rawa lebak. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Juli – September 2006. Sampel buah jeruk siam diperoleh dari pertanaman petani di lima lokasi lahan rawa lebak, yaitu Desa Batalas(Kab. Tapin), Lokgabang, Pematang Hambawang (Kab. Banjar), dan Mahang MatangLandung, Tabu Darat Hilir (Kab. Hulu Sungai Tengah), Kalimantan Selatan. Buah jeruk dipanen masak optimal menurut kriteria petani setempat. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas buah jeruk Siam Banjar beragam, dengan bobot buah jeruk siam berkisar antara 101,73 – 135,52 g. Persentase daging buah 79,63 – 80,67%. Kadar sari buah 39,66 -62,35%. Kadar air buah 87,11 – 88,14%. Kadar total soluble solid (TSS) 10,2 – 12,06%.Kadar asam 0,24 – 0,41%. Nisbah TSS/asam 25,71 – 50,46. Kadar vitamin C 29,59 – 39,80mg/100 g. Kadar Fe 0,12 – 0,24 mg/100 ml. Kualitas buah jeruk Siam Banjar mempunyai kualitas baik, dan yang paling baik di antara lima lokasi tersebut adalah dari Desa Pematang Hambawang, Kecamatan Astambul, Kabupaten Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan. Hal ini juga didukung oleh penilaian panelis terhadap buah jeruk dalam uji organoleptik.

ABSTRACT
Siam Banjar (Citrus suhuiensis) citrus plant well grown on monotonous swampland. The objective of the research was to identification of Siam Banjar citrus fruit quality planted onmonotonous swampland. The research was conducted on July – September 2006, in South Kalimantan. Citrus fruit sample from farmer field in five location monotonous swampland were Batalas Village (Tapin District), Lokgabang, Pematang Hambawang (Banjar District),and Mahang Matang Landung, Tabu Darat Hilir (Hulu Sungai Tengah District). The citrus fruit harvested at optimum maturity stage according to local farmer criteria. The result showed that the quality of citrus fruit varied between location. The individual weights of citrus fruit were 101.73 – 135.52 g. Percentage of flash fruit 79.63 – 80.67%. Juice content39.66 – 62.35%. Moisture content 87.11 – 88.14%. Total soluble solid (TSS) 10.2 – 12.06%.Acidity 0.24 – 0.41%. Ratio TSS/acidity 25.71 – 50.46. Vitamin C content 29.59 – 39.80mg/100 g. Fe content 0.12 – 0.24 mg/100 ml. Siam Banjar citrus fruit have good quality and acceptable taste, and of 5 locations, citrus fruit from Pematang Hambawang has the best quality, as it was showed by panelist on organoleptic test.
