Abstrak:
Jeruk merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan Kalimantan Selatan yang banyak diusahakan di lahan kering, tadah hujan, lahan pasang surut, dan lahan lebak. Penanaman jeruk di lahan pasang surut dengan menggunakan sistem surjan. Penelitian tentang aspek ekonomi komoditas jeruk di lahan pasang surut Kalimantan Selatan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2004. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani jeruk di lahan pasang surut dengan sistem usahatani padi (0,27ha) jeruk (0,63ha) dan padi-jeruk + sayuran/palawija dengan perbandingan guludan dan sawah (0,2 : 0,8 dan 0,3 : 0,7), layak diusahakan. Jeruk merupakan tanaman paling kompetitif diusahakan di lahan pasang surut suI fat masam tipe A, kemudian diikuti tanaman kelapa dan padi lokal, sedangkan untuk tipe B, tanaman jeruk akan kompetitif diusahakan setelah nenas, tom at, dan lombok. Oari saluran pemasaran yang diteliti, saluran pemasaran jeruk ke Kalimantan Tengah yang paling efisien dan pemasaran jeruk di Kalimantan Selatan dalam kondisi pasar bersaing sempurna. Pengusahaan tanaman jeruk di lahan pasang surut memerlukan dukungan permodalan dan peningkatan kualitas buahjeruk.

Abstrak:
Citrus is one of the main commodities in South Kalimantan which is cultivated in dry, rainfed, tidal swamp and monotonous swamp land. The cultivation of citrus in tidal swamp land is carried on by garden-bed system. The research on the economical aspects of citrus farming in tidal swamp area in South Kalimantan was carried out in 2004. The research result showed that the citrus farming in tidal swamp land using I) the farming system of rice (0,27 ha) and citrus (0,63 ha); and 2) Rice-Citrus + vegetable/second crop with ratio of garden bed and rice bed (0,2: 0,8 and 0,3 : 0,7) were feasible to be carried on. Citrus is the most competitive crop to be cultivated in sulfit acid tidal swamp land type A, followed by coconut and local rice. While in suI fit acid tidal swamp land type B, citrus is also competitive to be cultivated after pineapple, tomato and chili. From the marketing channel observed, the most efficient marketing channel of citrus is to Central Kalimantan, while the marketing in South Kalimantan is at the level of perfect  competition. The cultivation of citrus in tidal swamp land needs capital support and improvement fruit quality.
